Mills Equipment Co. - Design - Manufacture – Install – Service

About Us

Mills Equipment Company opened our doors in 1943. Since 1981, we have been a full-service engineering and design firm. We have completed over 1,000 projects of diverse applications for numerous industries—both stationary and mobile: we have built highway equipment, off-highway equipment and amusement park rides. Our capabilities are diverse and innovative: we designed and oversaw the construction of the ride mechanism for the Splash Mountain Ride at Disneyworld; we designed specialized train cars for Amtrak for its Viewliner program; we designed, built and installed a blast containment structure for the Army Reserves; we designed, constructed and installed a drive train for the Air Force’s Centrifuge program—testing rocket fuel. In this testing project, we modified the existing Centrifuge program with a hydraulic power unit and controls to enable the system to test MinuteMan missile fuels.

Because of our diverse history, Mills Equipment is equipped with the knowledge-base necessary to offer our customers the support they need. We are committed to quality, automation and aesthetics as they apply to design, fabrication, installation and service. We focus on specialized industrial systems and complete all aspects of these systems’ processes: design, manufacturing, fabrication, as well as extensive product testing. Our expertise includes motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, structural design and analysis, solid modeling, computer-aided drafting, finite element analysis, electrical panel construction, PLC programming and controls, component selection, process evaluation and project management.

Mills Equipment Company will provide our customer with all that is necessary to get their job done. We have capabilities only an experienced vendor can offer. We can also design, construct, fabricate, machine, paint, program and install any minor or major stand-alone project, addition or upgrade.
